#245  The organic tea garden of Avongrove, located in the Rungbong Valley at 2200 to 5700 feet in altitude, produces many fine Darjeelings. This second plucking—a rarity from clonal leaves—features a slightly open leaf and silvery tips. With an aromatic base, this complex tea surprises with floral notes.

Preparation: 3 g tea leaves (1 heaping teaspoon) per 8 oz cup of filtered boiling water. Allow to brew 3–4 min.
