#529 This small plantation in Sri Lanka’s Uva District was among the first certified organic plantations to produce premium green teas, which are sought after by connoisseurs and enthusiasts around the world. While Ceylon teas are generally black, this unique green Ceylon shimmers in many nuances of verdant color, with long, slightly needle-like leaves. The sweetish, fresh taste is reflected in the orange-yellow cup.
Preparation: 3 g tea leaves (1 heaping teaspoon) per 8 oz cup of filtered water, boiled and cooled to 90°C/194°F. Allow to brew 2 min.
