#533 Only the budding leaf is plucked from the plants of northern Fujian Province for this unique tea. The climate, soil conditions, early morning fog, and afternoon sunshine provide optimal conditions. The bright, slightly rose-colored cup develops a soft, fragrant bouquet and a tender, mild taste on the tongue that is reminiscent of apricots.
Preparation: 3 g tea leaves (2 heaping teaspoons) per 8 oz cup of filtered water, boiled and cooled to 70°C/158°F. Allow to brew 3 min.
