Tropical Cherry (Acerola) (Fruit Tea)

#1400  Very classic hibiscus-based European-style fruit tea. When hot, the typical tartness of the hibiscus remains foremost, but that hibiscus dryness mellows when this tea is cold. Best served iced.

Acerola, also known as Barbados cherry or West Indian cherry, looks like a cherry, has a tart flavor, and is considered a superfruit.

Ingredients: Hibiscus blossoms, papaya pieces, pineapple pieces, mango pieces, acerola powder, and natural flavor.

Preparation: 3 heaping teaspoons per 8 oz cup of filtered boiling water. Allow to brew 5–10 min.
