Our suppliers work directly with tea garden owners, growers, and managers of smaller estates to ensure quality and transparency.
And even though our teas are in that top 0.5% of the world's tea, all of them—including those that are certified “organic”—are subject to the highest scrutiny. Every tea is tested for purity, both in the garden and in independent labs in Germany, where the testing standards for pesticides and heavy metals are the strictest in the industry.
These high standards apply to any additives—including fruit, herbals, and spices. Sometimes, stabilizers, emulsifiers, etc. are necessary, so we have listed them here.
