Chili Chocolate

#6971  For the ancient Aztecs, chocolate was not a food but a drink—and hot chili powder was the addition of choice. Hot chili peppers and bitter cocoa beans play in wonderful harmony alongside the subtle sweetness of black tea. Blossoms and cocoa add creamy notes but the chili pepper comes closely at the end for a lingering heat. 

Ingredients: Black tea, roasted green tea, oolong tea, cocoa pieces, almond brittle, cinnamon, chili pepper pieces, cornflower blossoms, and natural flavor. Our own Haus Blend. 

Preparation: 3 g tea leaves (1 heaping teaspoon) per 8 oz cup of filtered, boiling water. Allow to brew 2 min.
