Vietnam Leafhopper

Sold out.

#855  This smooth oolong, based on the Jin Xuyen cultivar, comes from northern Vietnam's Tam Duong district where it's grown at altitudes of up to 2296 feet. Very small quantities are produced in May and also between September and November. This specialty unfolds a floral, aromatic bouquet with bread-like tones. Its subtle and slightly bitter honey note is characteristic of Vietnamese teas.

Preparation: 3 g tea leaves (1 heaping teaspoon) per 8 oz cup of filtered boiling. Allow to brew 2–3 min.
