#873 Teas from the country of Georgia are very rare, although Chinese tea shrubs have been cultivated in the region since the mid-1700s. Therefore, we are thrilled to bring you this rarity, plucked from wild-growing shrubs. The matte black, long and wiry leaves, with some tips, yield a rewarding dark and bold—yet surprisingly smooth—brew.
Preparation: 3 g tea leaves (1 heaping teaspoon) per 8 oz cup of filtered boiling water. Allow to brew 3–5 min.
